On our holidays based in Ryde we include a visit Queen Victoria's Osborne House and enjoy a journey on the Islands Steam Railway along with taking in the many of the towns and villages of this unique Island of the UK.

Included Excursions
Excursion 1 This morning we head for East Cowes and Queen Victoria's stunning Osborne House. Experience the stunning Victorian opulence and extravagant interiors, including the Indian decor of the Dunbar Room. See the private apartments, including the Queen's bedroom, the Swiss Cottage - a chalet built for the royal children. Whilst the extensive grounds offer stunning views across the Solent, a Victorian Walled Garden and Hothouse containing exotic plants. Following your time around Osborne House you'll have free time to explore East Cowes, or why not catch the Chain ferry across to West Cowes, a vibrant yachting town with independent shops, bars, and restaurants.
Excursion 2 We enjoy a nostalgic journey on the island Steam Railway this morning, we then head off to Shanklin to spend a few hours in this delightful village with thatched cottages, tea rooms and gift shops
Excursion 3 Heading to the West of the Island we visit Yarmouth, a compact town with narrow streets and small picturesque harbour, from here we then visit Alum Bay to see the famous Needles and coloured sands.
