This wonderful new holiday explores some of Ireland's greatest treasures, from the amazing Cliffs of Moher & Aran Isles in the West to the historic towns and Cities of the South East. Early pickups as we head to Holyhead for our ferry to Dublin. We then begin our Irish adventure and head to the West Coast and our hotel in County Clare.
A wonderful coastal exploration today as we head along the Wild Atlantic Way to Doolin Pier where we board our ferry to the Aran Islands and the Island of Inis Orr. On arrival we join our Pony & Trap tour of the Island before we have some free time for lunch. We return to the mainland this afternoon enjoying a spectacular cruise to the base of the spectacular Cliffs of Moher
This morning we head to Ireland’s Musical City – Galway, we’ll meet a local guide who will give us a fascinating walking tour of this medieval city. Explore the narrow and colourful streets that feel they haven’t changed for centuries. This afternoon we have a fabulous 90 minute cruise along the River Corrib to Lough Corrib, Irelands second largest Lake. We’ll pass castles and historical landmarks whilst listening to a fascinating commentary from the ships skipper. You’ll also be treated to an Irish Coffee Making Demonstration and some Irish dancing.
We travel from West to East today and on tour second hotel – the Talbot in Wexford. En-route we’ll enjoy a stop in the lovely medieval town of Kilkenny, with its medieval mile, stunning castle and the original home of Smithwicks Brewery. Spend free time in Irelands most historic and compact city before enjoying an afternoon tour at the Smithwicks Experience which ends with tasting of the lovely ale in the bar
It’s Ireland’s oldest city today – Waterford. Spend the morning wandering through the historic streets and maybe head to the quayside, Waterford Medieval Treasures is worth a look, telling the story of the city in an interactive and high tech museum. This afternoon we have included a guided tour of the House of Waterford Crystal, which is located in the heart of the City. See the expert craftsmen & women as they blow, mould and cut to make the World Famous dazzling glassware.
We head back to Dublin for the afternoon ferry to Holyhead and then onward back to North West this evening.

This is no ordinary hotel, this countryside retreat is built in the grounds of the Dromoland Castle.
