Please Note the Following Information Issued by the Edinburgh Tattoo Organsiers regarding the venue.

The Edinburgh Tattoo takes place at Edinburgh Castle - an ancient, historic site atop an extinct volcano. The walk to the arena is via Castlehill, the old, cobbled approach to the Esplanade on a steep incline and consequently, may prove difficult for some. In addition, there are five or so steps to be negotiated to reach the front rows of all the spectator stands in the arena where generally, the seating is quite steeply tiered.
