Nestled in five acres of stunning gardens within the breathtaking countryside of the Scottish Borders, this traditional country house hotel built in 1914, has retained a respectful eye toward the grandeur and charm of the past, while also embracing the conveniences of the modern age. The Edinburgh Tattoo takes place at Edinburgh Castle - an ancient, historic site atop an extinct volcano. The walk to the arena is via Castlehill, the old, cobbled approach to the Esplanade on a steep incline and consequently, may prove difficult for some. In addition, there are five or so steps to be negotiated to reach the front rows of all the spectator stands in the arena where generally, the seating is quite steeply tiered.
PLEASE NOTE: Price is per person and based on two people sharing a twin/double room. Single room supplements and upgrades are not included.
