From the early days of flight, through to the dramatic days of the second world war and the technological advances of the Cold War, IWM Duxford has played a central role in dome of the most significant periods of 20th Century history. Duxford is also famous for their spectacular annual Air Shows, and in 2024 we are pleased to feature two of these spectacles. D Day 80 commemorates the 80th Anniversary of D Day with a live-action flying display, living history groups and of course the collections from within the museum. The late Summer show is dedicated to the Battle of Britain era, discover sights, sounds and noises of Spitfires, Hurricanes and more plus music and dance from the era.

PLEASE NOTE: Price is per person and based on two people sharing a twin/double room. Single room supplements and upgrades are not included.
Day One
We travel to our hotel in Huntingdon with a visit to the National Memorial Arboretum to take in this remarkable area dedication to year-round Remembrance of the Armed Services.
Day Two
It's all about the Air Show today as we head to IWM Duxford. Our May weekend visits for the extra special D Day 80th Anniversary Commemorative Air Show, whilst our September weekend visits for the Battle of Britain Air Show.
Day Three
We pop into nearby Cambridge this morning to enjoy free time around the lovely University City, why not head down to the River for a punt or simply explore the lovely historic streets. We return to the North West for 6.30pm
