Springtime is a delightful time to visit The Netherlands as the country bursts into the season with its World famous blooms. The base for our holiday is the pretty tourist town of Valkenburg, with picturesque pedestrian streets, ancient Castle and impressive Caves. The town is in the perfect spot for exploring the area and we include excursions to Maastrict & hop across the border into Germany and visit the beautiful town of Monschau & cathedral city of Aachen. The highlight of our holiday will be our included visit to the wonderful gardens of Keukenhof

Day One
We enjoy a leisurely journey to Hull to board to overnight ferry to Holland. relax and enjoy the onboard facilities, dine in one of the Buffett or a la carte restaurants *, head to the show lounge for some entertainment, catch a movie in the onboard cinema or have a flutter in the casino. Ther are also plenty of lounges and bars to enjoy a quieter atmosphere. An en-suite inside Twin Cabin is included in your holiday cost, cabin upgrades are available on request at a supplement
Day Two
We enjoy breakfast before we disembark and make our way to Valkenburg. Arriving early afternoonthe remainder of the day is free to settle in.
Days Three to Five
Enjoy a free day in Valkenburg and we also include two fabulous excursions. One excursion us over the border into Germany visiting the lovely town of Monschau with some wonderfully preserved buildings lining pretty cobbled streets and returning via the spa town of Aachen with its spectacular Cathedral. On our second excursion we visit Maastrict, one of The Netherlands oldest and prettiest cities and enjoy a photo opportunity at Three Countries Meet where we can see the border of Belgian, Holland & Germany.
Day Six
Leaving Valkenburg this morning we travel to Keukenhof to see their amazing blooms. Over 7 million bulbs will bloom this spring, with a total of 800 varieties of tulips. A unique, unforgettable experience! Besides the spacious 32 hectares of flowers you can enjoy the spectacular flower shows, surprising inspirational gardens, unique art and wonderful events. Following our visit here we head to Rotterdam for our overnight ferry crossing. 2 Berth (Bunks) Inside Cabins are included along with dinner & breakfast in the restaurant. Relax in your cabin or enjoy the on-board entertainment as you sail back to the UK.
Day Seven
Enjoy breakfast on board then travel back to the North West for around lunchtime.

We are delighted to be heading back to the Walram, following the devastating floods in 2020 the hotel is now, refurbished and ready to welcome us back. Enjoy a fabulous position to explore the town, the fresh new reception, bar & restaurant are the ideal places to relax after a busy day sightseeing, and your en-suite bedroom will offer TV & Hairdryer. Lift.
