Dumfries House is one of Britain's most beautiful stately homes and best kept heritage secrets, with sumptuous interiors and magnificent furnishings. You will have a private guided tour with the house dressed for Christmas. Afterwards enjoy one of their speciality afternoon teas. Our weekend break also ventures into Edinburgh and Glasgow for their fabulous Christmas Markets.

Day One
We head North of the border and visit Gretna Green en-route to our hotel.
Day Two
Today we visit Dumfries House, set in 2,000 acres, this stunning Estate and 18th-century house with its unrivalled collection of Chippendale is part of the Prince's Foundation. We'll enjoy a guided tour as the house is dressed for Christmas followed by one of their speciality Afternoon Tea's.
Day Three
A full day in Edinburgh today - the Christmas market will be in full swing in Princes Street Gardens with the magnificent Castle as a backdrop. There's plenty more to do in the city should you wish too.
Day Four
Heading home today, but we'll head into Glasgow first for more Christmas Market fun. Returning back to the North West for approx. 6pm

The family owned Glynhill Hotel is perfectly situated just a few miles from Glasgow City Centre, making it the ideal choice for our weekend break. Bedrooms are comfortable and well equipped with TV, tea/coffee making facilities & iron. The laid-back restaurant and bar are the ideal place to relax after a busy day shopping and sightseeing. Lift.
PLEASE NOTE: Price is per person and based on two people sharing a twin/double room. Single room supplements and upgrades are not included.
