We are delighted to offer you the chance to visit TV's Downton Abbey with Entrance to the Castle and Gardens Included, see this stunning house that captured the imagination of the writers of this now World Famous TV show. In real life Downton is Highclere Castle, one of England's most beautiful Victorian Castles. It has been home to the Carnarvon Family since 1679 and sits amid 1000 acres of spectacular parkland. Our break also includes visits too Royal Windsor and the City of dreaming spires - Oxford

Day One
We head to Oxford to enjoy free time in this University City, With plenty to do you will be spoilt for choice, enjoy a sail or walk along the river, take an open top bus seeing the many architectural delights of the city, join one of the many walking tours or meander through the streets and alleyways taking in the splendid City at your own pace.
Day Two
We spend the full day in the wonderful Royal town of Windsor, home to the spectacular Castle and wonderful parklands, you can also enjoy a sail on the Thames or wander the lovely shopping centre
Day Three
The highlight of our weekend today as we head to Highclere Castle home to the Earls of Carnavon since 1679 to enjoy the stunning grounds, landscape and Castle used as the location for Downton Abbey. Please Note : Entrance to the Egyptian Exhibition is NOT included on this date. We then return back to the North West for approx, 6.30pm

Hampshire Court Hotel * * * *
Our April break stays at the lovely modern Hampshire Court Hotel close to Basingstoke, with excellent facilities including indoor pools, sauna & steam room. Enjoy delicious food in the restaurant and relax in the Time Out bar and lounge area. Bedrooms are on the 1st floor which is served by a lift and offer TV, tea/coffee making facilities and hairdryer.
PLEASE NOTE: Price is per person and based on two people sharing a twin/double room. Single room supplements and upgrades are not included.
