Excursion 1
Our full day's adventure starts with a drive over the spectacular 'Dukes Pass' to Loch Katrine where we enjoy a cruise on the Loch Katrine aboard the Lady of the Lake. Afterward, we continue to the picturesque village of Comrie and visit Cultybraggan Camp, Scotland's only remaining WW2 Prisoner of War Camp. The Camp comprises a large site of 13.8 hectares including over 80 Nissen huts (many converted to local craft shops), sports fields and the last nuclear bunker built in the U.K. Enjoy a complimentary wine tasting in one of the Nissen huts.

Excursion 2
After breakfast we head to Stirling Castle, one of the largest and most important castles in Scotland, both historically and architecturally. The castle sits atop Castle Hill, an intrusive crag, which forms part of the Stirling Sill geological formation. Its strategic location, guarding what was, until the 1890s, the farthest downstream crossing of the River Forth, has made it an important fortification in the region from the earliest times. From here we head to Callendar House in Falkirk, set in the nationally important historic landscape of Callendar Park which contains a section of the Roman Antonine Wall, a UNESCO World Heritage site. The House's permanent displays are The Story of Callendar House, a history covering the 11th to the 19th centuries, and The Antonine Wall, Rome's Northern Frontier.
