A wonderful weekend break full of highlights - visit the medieval city of Lincoln, with it's fabulous Cathedral and historic Castle, explore the stunning house and gardens at the Duke & Duchess of Devonshire's stately home - Chatsworth. We'll also visit the International Bomber Command serving as a point for recognition, remembrance and reconciliation for Bomber Command and enjoy the stunning scenery of the Peak District and visit the market town of Chester with it's famous crooked spire.

Day One
Heading through the stunning Peak District scenery via the scenic A623 to Chesterfield and today it's Market Day. There's been a market here for over 800 years making it one of the oldest in the country.

Day Two
To nearby Lincoln today, our day starts with a visit to the International Bomber Command Centre, see one of the UK's tallest War Memorials and experience what it was like to take place in an operation. We then continue to Lincoln, a wonderful compact Medieval City with historic cobbled streets and some of the finest architecture in the country with the stunning Cathedral, Medieval Bishops Palace and historic castle. There is also the waterfront and a fine mixture of independent and high street shops.

We're heading back into the beautiful Peak District to visit the stunning Chatsworth Estate. You'll have time to explore the stunning home of the Duke & Duchess of Devonshire, which has been passed down for 16 Generations, highlights include the Painted Hall, Chapel & Great Dining Room, it's not all about the house though, there's 105 acres to explore too, with the famous Cascade, splendid Victorian Rock Garden, waterworks and sculptures to admire. We return to the North West for 6.30pm
