Chatham 1940'S & Leeds Castle Festival Of Flowers
On this special long weekend we visit two of Kents best festivals. The Historic Dockyards 1940's Weekend is one of the best vintage festivals around. With Big Bands and Vintage Music, Wartime Displays, Vintage Shopping, vehicle displays and parades and so much more. You may recognise the backdrop too, as the Dockyard at Chatham is where many TV shows and movies are filmed, including Call the Midwife and Sherlock Holmes. In contrast we also visit the stunning setting of Leeds Castle - Britain's loveliest Castle, at it blooms during their Festival of Flowers. The rooms and grounds of the Castle are adorned with floral displays that will stimulate the senses. A fabulous weekend break.
