Day One
We head South to the Black Country Living Museum. This amazing 26 acres site takes you back to the 1830’s, with a village and charismatic residents to chat with, trams to ride, games to play, things being made and stories to hear.
Day Two
This morning we head to Bridgnorth and it’s market day, this was once one of the busiest river ports in Europe but now the pretty river Severn divides the town into High and Low and is linked by sets of ancient donkey steps and the Victorian Funicular. This afternoon we board the Steam Railway for a nostalgic journey to Kidderminster, this stunning journey takes 1 hour and 20 mins passing through the picturesque Severn Valley.
Day Three
We enjoy a stunning drive to the border town of Ludlow, with over 800 years of history, visit the ancient castle or wander the pretty streets, from Ludlow we travel to Shrewsbury for our final stop before returning back to Poplar Services for 6pm.
