We’re heading high up in the Highlands so an early start is planned
We visit the Highland Capital, Inverness this morning before joining or cruiser at Clansman Harbour for our cruise on Loch Ness. We cruise to Urqhart Castle so cameras at the ready and keep an eye out Nessy. Entrance to the Castle & visitor centre is included. We return to our hotel by coach via Beauly and Muir of Ord
A journey on one of the most beautiful rail journeys in Europe this morning as we join the Kyle Line. Sit back, relax and witness formidable jagged peaks, dense sweeping forests, wild hillsides and sparkling lochs. On arrival in Kyle our coach is waiting to take us over the bridge onto the Isle of Skye, where light lunch is included. A spectacular journey back to the hotel form the West to East Coasts will include a photo stop at the magnificent Eilean Donan Castle.
An exciting day today as we head further North, we join our 90 minute train journey and follow the North Sea Coastline passing fairy-tale Dunrobin Castle and the beautiful beaches around Brora, this really is remote Scotland with miles of moorland, famous Salmon Rivers and distilleries. On arrival into Thurso our coach will transfer us the short distance to the Queen Mothers Castle of Mey for a fascinating guided tour. We will return tour hotel via John O Groats and the once mighty fishing port of Wick.
We return back to the North West for approx. 7pm.
