The South of England is dotted with many of the world's best castles & stately homes and this special holiday will include many of them. We will visit a 13th century Royal Castle, a 16th century French styled chateau and a medeival Castle too. It's not all about the castles though, we also thrown in a steam train journey, a visit to the popular and historic riverside town of Henley on Thames and the City of Dreaming Spires - Oxford.

We travel across the South Downs today as we head to impressive Arundel Castle – dating back to Norman times you’ll see rare paintings & tapestries; finely preserved interiors and the gardens are said to be amongst the best in the UK. This afternoon we visit the ancient Cathedral City of Chichester.
To the City of dreaming Spires – Oxford for our morning visit, explore the historic streets many you will recognise from the big and small screen. This afternoon it’s off to Waddesdon Manor – you may recognise this too if you watch Midsomer Murders. This 16th Century French Style Chateau offers a 1st class collection of art and furniture and flamboyant Victorian Gardens.
Today we board the famous Bluebell Railway for a relaxing 40 minute Steam journey through the Sussex Countryside. Onward then to Hever Castle – home of Anne Boleyn – 2nd Wife of Henry VIII and full of treasures and 125 acres of stunning gardens.
