THE BEST OF LAKE WINDERMERE - BOWNESS & AMBLESIDE, with optional Lake Cruise -
We head to the Lake District to spend the day visiting lovely Lake Windermere and two lovely lakeside towns. First stop is bustling Bowness, enjoy free time exploring this lakeside town with rowing boats, riverside walks, shops, cafes & pubs. We then head to the Northern tip of the Lake and the town of Ambleside. For anyone who wishes your driver will organise a sail linking the two towns for a small charge. We pick the sailors up by the Lake and then head inland to this wonderful town of shops, pubs, cafes and restaurants for free time before returning home.
