Day One
We travel to our hotel in the city of Bath
Day Two
A free day today to get your bearings and explore all that this lovely City has to offer, head for the historic Roman baths, or Bath Abbey see the honey-coloured Georgian architecture straight from a Jane Austen novel; highlights include the iconic Royal Crescent and the majestic Circus or simply enjoy the compact shopping centre
Day Three
Today we head for England's smallest City - Wells, we'll take the scenic route through stunning Cheddar Gorge. Enjoy your visit to Wells with a visit to the stunning Cathedral, where we have included a delicious afternoon Tea before returning back to Bath. Please note Dinner is not included at the hotel this evening
Day Four
Into Wiltshire today our first stop is the historic market town of Devizes, and today is Market Day. Browse the stalls in the heart of the historic town which has a medieval past and offers over 500 listed buildings. We then journey over the Salisbury Plain and head for our afternoon visit to Stonehenge - the best known pre-historic monument in Europe. Explore the ancient landscape on foot and step inside the Neolithic Houses to discover the tools and objects of everyday Neolithic life. Visit the world-class exhibition and visitor centre with 250 ancient objects and come face to face with a 5,500-year-old man.
