Caledonian Hotel * * *
Boasting stunning views of Loch Linnhe, and a premium location just two miles from Fort William, the Caledonian Hotel is your perfect base for discovering the Scottish Highlands. After a day exploring the magical mountains and lochs, you'll be able to settle into the hotel's comfortable lounge, here there's a regular programme of entertainment, including musicians and comedians with a Scottish Highland flavour. Bedroom facilities include an en-suite bathroom, hairdryer, tea and coffee maker, a TV and a telephone. Lift to most floors.

EXCURSION 1: Isle of Mull & Iona Hugging the shoreline of Loch Linnhe we travel to Oban to board the 40 minute crossing to the Isle of Mull, with its 300 miles of coastline we enjoy the scenery of the Island as we travel the 25 mile journey to the West of the Island passing imposing Duart Castle. We then board the ferry to historic Iona. Entrance is included into the famous Abbey - the resting place of over 100 Scottish Kings and said to be the birthplace of Christianity in Britain. After our visit we retrace our journey back onto Mull then onward to Oban and continuing to our hotel.
EXCURSION 2: West Highland Railway & Isle of Skye A magical day awaits. Board the train in Fort William, on what is arguably the most scenic railway journey in the UK. It snakes its way through the glens and along lochsides, over the 21 arched Glenfinnan Viaduct, arriving in Mallaig. Here we rejoin our coach and board the ferry to take us Over the sea to Skye. We take in the scenery of southern Skye, with the jagged Cuillin Mountains coming into view. We stop in Broadford for an included light lunch. Afterwards, we head over the bridge at Kyle, stopping at Eilean Donan Castle, (the 2nd most photographed castle in Scotland), before heading back to our hotel passing many Lochs and Mountain Ranges.
EXCURSION 3: Free Day On your free day in Fort William we are delighted to include a trip on the Nevis Range Mountain Cable Car, the UK's only Mountain Gondola which takes you 605m up Aonarch Mor in the Nevis Mountain Range. Enjoy the spectacular views and clean mountain air, the Snowgoose Restaurant could be the perfect spot to enjoy some lunch
