A spectacular train journey awaits today as we travel north-west from Inverness to Dingwall before climbing over the Highlands through beautiful wooded hillsides passing magnificent Lochs with twists and turns in and out of loch side inlets and arriving at the coast at Plockton, with yachts anchored in the shelter of its beautiful bay. The final section of the journey is perhaps the most dramatic, as it is carved through the solid rock that leads to Kyle Pier and the end of the journey. Our coach then takes us across the bridge to the Isle of Skye to enjoy a little free time before our journey back to our hotel by coach.
We're heading further North today for a wonderful scenic excursion taking us along the scenic A385 to the picture postcard harbour village of Ullapool situated overlooking Loch Broom. The journey here will be just as special as the visit with dramatic unspoilt views of mountains, Loch and Rivers
This morning we spend free time in the Highland Capital of Inverness before heading out to Loch Ness for a bit of Monster Spotting, we'll follow the shores of the Loch to arrive at Drumnadrochit where we spend free time and have included entrance to the Loch Ness Visitor Centre. We enjoy the stunning scenery on our return to Strathpeffer
