Excursion 1 A morning visit to the Old Riverport of St Ives, a beautiful historic town on the river Great Ouse, discover a fascinating heritage along the waterfront, alleyways and market place, and a great range of independent shops throughout the town. We continue on to lovely Ely for our afternoon stop, steeped in history and is principally renowned for its magnificent Cathedral with its unique Octagon Tower which dominates the landscape for miles around. The Great Ouse riverside is also a favourite spot for visitors with boat trips, shops and galleries.
Excursion 2 The delightful City of Cambridge, Be inspired by the many beautiful museums and art galleries, admire the beautiful architecture and majestic college buildings and explore quaint passages set around the historic market place and colleges, where a unique and relaxing shopping experience can be found
Excursion 3 We hop across the border today - to Suffolk, for a morning stop at the historic Market Town of Bury St. Edmunds. This unique and dazzling historic gem is an important market town with a richly fascinating heritage, the striking combination of medieval architecture, elegant Georgian squares and glorious Cathedral and Abbey gardens provide a distinctive visual charm, and today is market day!! This afternoon we visit Newmarket en-route back to our hotel.
