We've a fabulous itinerary which includes a journey on Europe's oldest cog railway, a wonderful sail on Lake Achen, visit stunning Innsbruck with it's famous Golden Roof and enjoy a journey to the 'Top of Innsbruck' by Gondola, see the historic Benedictine Monastery at Ettal and visit lovely Garmish-Partenkirchen and the unique town of Oberammergau.

Day One
We've early morning HOME pick ups as we travel to Dover for the lunchtime ferry over to Calais. We then make the journey to the Laon area of France for our overnight stay
Day Two
We travel to our 2nd overnight stay in the delightful Alsace town of Colmar, our hotel is very close to the historic centre and we plan to arrive mid to late afternoon, giving you the opportunity to enjoy your surroundings, please note dinner is NOT incuded this evening, however the close proximity to the centre will give you ample opportunity to arrange this independently.
Day Three
From Colmar we travel into Austria, heading to our hotel in the town of Igls, arriving late afternoon
Day Four
We head into the stunning city of Innsbruck today, the Tyrols stunning capital with its famous Golden Roof and surrounded by the stunning Alpine scenery. We've an included a journey to the 'Top of Innsbruck' on the Nordkettenbahnen - The modern Hungerburgbahn railway takes visitors from the heart of the old town up to the Hungerburg in comfort. From there, the cable car continues via Hermann-Buhl-Platz to the 1,905 metre high Seegrube and finally to the 2,300 metre high Hafelekar. The view here stretches in all directions - with Innsbruck on one side and the Karwendel Nature Park on the other and we've included a little drink at the top to take in the spectacular views. You'll also enjoy free time around lovely Innsbruck
Day Five
Enjoy a free day in lovely Igls, if you wish to head back into Innbruck for more sightseeing it's easy to readh by local transport
Day Six
This morning we embark on the Achenseebahn, Europe’s oldest cog railway, which is still steam operated. Puffing through the steeper sections, it rises to a 16% gradient from Jenbach to Seespitz. From here we re-join our coach for the short journey to the resort town of Pertisau. We enjoy time at leisure before relaxing on a one-way cruise from Pertisau to the northern shores of lovely Lake Achen, in Scholastika.
Day Seven
Today we travel to the town of Oberammergau, home to the unique passion play. After enjoying free time here, we move on to the beautiful nearby Ettal Abbey for a visit before travelling to the Bavarian town of Garmisch- Partenkirchen, where we enjoy some time at leisure.
Day Eight
Leaving Austria behind we travel from Igls to our overnight stay in the Strasbourg area
Day Nine
From Strasbourg we travel back to the Laon area in Northern France
Day Ten
Back to the Ferry Port today for a late morning / early afternoon ferry to Dover, we then continue to the North West arriving back around 9pm

A charming 3* chalet-style hotel in the village of Igls, just a few minutes walk away from the cable car which will take you up the Patscherkofel Mountain - an idea choice on your free day, for some amazing views and to visit Europe's highest Botanical Show Garden. The restaurant is Tyrolean style and a traditional bar also awaits as does both indoor & outdoor swimming pools. The modern bedrooms are equipped with TV and hairdryer and a lift serves all floors.
