Sailing the calm waters through Europe's stormy history, experience three Capital Cities and lovely towns on the banks of the mighty Danube. Starting and finishing in lovely Passau, ports of call whilst sailing on board A-Rosa Donna will include, the stunning Austrian Capital of Vienna, with its museums, parks and of course the Viennese Café culture. A short stop in Esztergom, Hungary's former capital is followed by Budapest, the present day impressive capital spanning the river with seven bridges linking Buda and Pest, from here it's Europe's youngest capital city - Bratislava, Throughout the old town, you'll see traces of the Austro-Hungarian Empire wherever you go. Returning to Passau we also visit the riverside towns of Krems and Melk.

Day One
Mid morning HOME PICK UP's as we meet our coach and then make our way to Hull for our overnight sailing to Rotterdam.Once on board relax in one of the many lounges or bars, enjoy dinner* in the Buffet or a la carte restaurant, be entertained in the show lounge, catch a movie in the Cinema or have a flutter in the casino - the choice is yours.Once its time for bed head for your en-suite inside cabin with Twin beds and sleep as you sail through the night Cabin upgrades subject to availability and supplements* Dinner is available at a supplement
Day Two
We awake in Holland and enjoy our included breakfast before disembarking and making our way into Germany. We overnight this evening at the Park Hotel in Bad Megentheim.
Day Three
From Bad Mergentheim we continue our journey through Germany arriving into Passau early afternoon to meet the AROSA Donna for the start of our 7 Night All Inclusive Danube Classic River Cruise
Day Four
Sailing this morning we arrive in Vienna around 1pm - Vienna, the capital of Austria with that extra-special something. The locals sound as though they are singing when they speak, and it is customary for certain business owners to address their regular customers with their full title. That's just the way things are done here. With its wealth of museums, galleries, palaces and castles, plus the state opera and many theatres, the city enjoys a lively cultural scene all year-round. Our cruise stays overnight in Vienna giving you the opportunity to see the city by night
Day Five
More free time to enjoy Vienna today as our sail continues at 6.30pm this evening as we head for Hungary
Day Six
We have a morning stop off in Esztergom - the former capital of Hungary which sits right on the bank of the Danube and can be admired directly from the river. The castle tower and mighty basilica form an amazing sight, rising up from the steep bank of the Danube. Following our short stop we continue to the current Capital - Budapest where we arrive around 3pm, we have the afternoon & evening in this stunning City
Day Seven
Do you know how many bridges Budapest has? There are seven in total - and they span the river between the neighbourhoods Buda and Pest. The most well-known is probably the Széchenyi Chain Bridge. Take a look at Budapest's imposing structures for yourself as you cruise down the Danube. And if you go out onto the sun deck of your A-ROSA ship, you'll also have an unobstructed view of Budapest's famous parliament building. We leave Budapest at 3pm and head for our next country Slovakia.
Day Eight
We arrive in Bratislava around 9am and stay until 3.30pm. Home to approximately 450,000 inhabitants and located on the left bank of the Danube, Bratislava is a young capital city - the youngest in Europe, in fact. Throughout the old town, you'll see traces of the Austro-Hungarian Empire wherever you go. This leisurely city of baroque and rococo, palaces and palisades, and art and coffee houses a perfect place to wander around, marvel at impressive sights, relax and unwind..
Day Nine
Stay on board ship today and enjoy the amazing scenery of the UNESCO World Heritage Site of the Wachau Valley and the facilities on board, or you may wish to join an optional excursion which will be available to book during your cruise.
Day Ten
We arrive back into Passau this morning, disembark and re-join our coach for our journey into Germany and to another mighty European River - The Rhine, where we spend the evening in lovely Boppard at the popular Ebertor Hotel.
Day Eleven
Continuing our journey homeward and time allowing we enjoy our lunchstop in the pretty Dutch town of Valkenburg, before continuing to Rotterdam for our overnight sailing back to Hull. For your comfort we have included inside lower berth cabins for everyone, should you wish to upgrade to an Outside cabin please advise our reservations team who can advise availability and supplements.
Day Twelve
Arriving back into Hull we enjoy breakfast then disembark and head back home arriving back around lunch time

A-ROSA Donna * * * *
The A-ROSA DONNA has a maximum of 242 passengers, spans 4 decks and offers a spacious sun deck with heated swimming pool, plenty of recliners, and even a putting green.
The comfortable outside-facing cabins feature a shower/WC, safe, air-conditioning, TV, hairdryer, telephone and FREE WI-FI. Main deck cabins have a picture window, whilst upper decks have French balconies (Juliette balconies) open to the fresh air. There is a restaurant, offering all meals with served or flexible Gourmet Buffet Dining - you choose with whom and when you want to eat. Plus, enjoy included cooking demonstrations, afternoon tea, snacks and al fresco dining (weather permitting).
The facilities of the on board SPA are FREE to use and include a fitness room, relaxation area, sauna, message and beauty treatments (extra cost).Relax in the panoramic lounge with bar and dance floor, with nightly entertainment. The ships does not have any lifts.
