Warners Holme Lacy is a Grade I listed mansion which was completed in 1674 and was reportedly visited by Charles II, and William Pitt, 1st Earl of Chatham, who held cabinet meetings in the gardens.
Set in 20 acres of gardens in the beautiful Wye Valley, Holme Lacy is one of Herefordshire’s treasures. There’s plenty to do with daily entertainment, a wide range of outdoor activities and an indoor pool and spa. Our tour also includes an excursion to the spectacular surroundings of Symonds Yat, Ross on Wye & The Wye Valley.

Join us for a day in Hereford, the Cathedral City with the relaxed atmosphere of a country market town. Its origin dates back to Saxon times and today visitors delight in the harmony of a rich heritage and modern facilities. The Black and White House Museum is a beautifully conserved 17th century house, furnished in period style. (Small admission charge applies and not included). Make sure to drop into Hereford's grand cathedral, home to the magnificent Mappa Mundi, the famous medieval map which shows how scholars interpreted the world over 700 years ago (admission approx. £7.50 in 2025)

Ludlow is a thriving medieval market town and an architectural gem with a lively community feel, busy with events and festivals throughout the year. The historic town centre and the 11th century Ludlow Castle are situated on a cliff above the River Teme and are surrounded by the beautiful countryside of south Shropshire and the Welsh Marche

Grade I listed, this is one of the largest mansions in Herefordshire and full of original features. It’s set within a conservation area and offers 20 acres of beautiful listed gardens. Charles II was once a visitor and William Pitt, 1st Earl of Chatham, reportedly held cabinet meetings in the gardens.
The Wye Valley, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, and the cathedral city of Hereford, are on the doorstep. in between days of sightseeing, activities in the hotel grounds range from putting and fishing by the lake, to archery and gardener-led tours of the grounds.
