Itinerary

Day 1 - From your chosen joining point your feeder vehicle will take you to your designated interchange point where your holiday begins. After joining your holiday coach, enjoy a scenic drive to Cricket St Thomas to arrive late afternoon. Breakfast & dinner included.

Days 2 - 3 or 4  At leisure with one or two included excursions

Included Excursions

Capital City of Devon - Exeter  (all tours) 
Full of character and ancient history, Exeter is still able to offer all the amenities and comforts that would be expected of a modern day city. St Peters Cathedral with its two magnificent towers has been dominating the city's skyline since 1114. The Cathedral is one of Exeter's most popular and well-known visitor attractions. Shopping in Exeter is real must. It easily provides visitors with an unforgettable shopping experience with so much on offer from stylish boutiques to the high street big names.

Dorchester & Weymouth  (5 Days only) 
The beautiful market town of Dorchester is the county town of Dorset. It is steeped in history and culture and boasts great places to visit, shop and eat. No holiday in Dorset would be complete without a visit to this fascinating town and its 6000 years of history.  Wednesday is Market Day. Continuing a short distance to Weymouth- one of the UK's most beautiful seaside resorts, and blessed with one of its sunniest and warmest climates, Weymouth offers a huge amount of activities and attractions to offer people of all ages. The great thing about Weymouth as place to visit is the amount of fun things to do - all within a relatively short distance of the town.  In fact the beach at Weymouth is so good it's worth visiting for that alone - you won't find a safer beach with nicer sand anywhere in Dorset!

Lyme Regis & Seaton (All tours)

Lyme Regis boasts breath-taking scenery and a special mystique, making it a sparkling resort for all seasons. Its historic Cobb and harbour are iconic features, set against moody blue cliffs yielding fossilised evidence of life on earth millions of years ago. An ancient town featured in the Domesday Book, Lyme Regis is home to a number of historical landmarks and educational attractions. The picturesque and tranquil Lyme Regis is a great place to discover a lot you didn't know about the UK's heritage.

Sitting at the heart of the Jurassic Coast World Heritage Site, with the South West Coast Path and Seaton Wetlands Nature Reserve within walking distance, Seaton's beautiful scenery and natural environment are a joy to explore. Time permitting why not take a step back to the golden age of travel with a ride on the Seaton Tramway -a  narrow gauge heritage tram operaitng between Seaton, Colyford and Colyton in East Devon's glorious Axe Valley.  Travel alongside the River Axe estuary through two nature reserves and giving an unrivalled view of the abundant wading bird life.  Fare not included for the tram. Optional day trip cost £12 per person.  

Return Day -
After breakfast your homeward journey commences and with ample refreshment stops on the way you will arrive back in your local towns mid evening.

Cricket St Thomas Historic Hotel

The scene of much of the famous TV comedy, To The Manor Born, Cricket St. Thomas was also frequently visited by Lord Nelson and Lady Hamilton.

This classic country house is set in splendid parkland, with colourful gardens, lakes, and a unique woodland area.
