Staying in the former spa town of Ilkley, nestled beneath the Cow & Calf Rocks and famous for its moor. Enjoy true Yorkshire hospitality, bags of fresh air, wonderful limestone landscapes and moorland. Sit back and relax as the dramatic scenery takes you some of the highlights of the Dales by road and steam train.

.DAY 1 - After joining your holiday coach, travel north to Yorkshire to check into your hotel for your 3 night stay with breakfast & dinner. Welcome drink on arrival.
DAYS 2 & 3 - At leisure in Ilkley with two included excursions.
Enjoy a day in Ilkley, a great little place to relax and treat yourself. There are excellent restaurants and independent shops selling everything from gifts to vintage clothes and books. Maybe enjoy afternoon tea at the famous Bettys Cafe and Tea Rooms or take a stroll in Riverside Gardens, alongside the River Wharfe, a lovely park in which to spend some time.

Skipton Market & Grassington - Saturday
Not to be missed a tour of the stunning Yorkshire Dales calling first at the market town of Skipton, known as the Gateway to the Dales and with a grand medieval castle as its centrepiece. Time to browse the award-winning market, which still operates under a charter granted by King John over 800 years ago. Continue on to the charming village of Grassington with its stunning surroundings, bustling cobbled square, beautiful stone buildings and quirky shops.
Brontë Country, Haworth and Steam Nostalgia - Sunday
A fun-filled day into Brontë Country, visiting the informative Brontë Parsonage Museum in charming Haworth, with its historic, cobbled street and vintage shops. Entrance included to museum.
Our day of nostalgia then continues with a ride on the Keighley & Worth Valley Railway through stunning countryside; this was also the setting for the classic film ‘The Railway Children’. Travel from Haworth to Keighley (single journey included).
DAY 4 - After breakfast, bid farewell to Yorkshire as you head south to interchange and onward to your home towns
