Great Malvern, Tewkesbury & Scenic Malvern Hills Drive.
Great Malvern with free time to explore - many attractions here including Great Malvern Priory and the Abbey Gateway, home to Malvern's museums. A scenic drive follows and Upton upon Severn will be your next stop. At first glance it looks like many other country towns, but its appearance conceals a secret past. Upton upon Severn used to be a port, as well as being the only river crossing for many miles. For centuries before modern transport, it was alive with river craft carrying goods from and to the rich agricultural areas around it. Today, pleasure craft have taken over. There is a flourishing marina on the east bank, and Upton's historic prosperity can be seen in its variety of delightful old buildings, including pleasant places to eat and drink. Upton is a town with a liveliness out of all proportion to its size. Its attractive shops and delightful inns - it's a place that has much to reveal.Tewkesbury is blessed with glorious countryside surrounding the town. With the River Severn and River Avon meeting in Tewkesbury, many of the walking routes trace the waters’ edge and provide the perfect setting to see the town from a different perspective.

The city is best known for its magnificent Cathedral but is also famous for the world renowned Worcester Porcelain, the piquant Worcestershire Sauce and the most picturesque cricket ground in the country.  Explore The Commandery to learn about our important role in the English Civil War. See a contemporary exhibition at the City Art Gallery and admire the half-timbered buildings in Friar Street. These include Greyfriars' House & Garden and the 500 year old Tudor House. Admission included today for The Royal Worcester Museum.

Optional Excursion
Ludlow (Cost £15 pp)
Ludlow is a thriving medieval market town and an architectural gem with a lively community feel, busy with events and festivals throughout the year. The historic town centre and the 11th century Ludlow Castle are situated on a cliff above the River Teme and are surrounded by the beautiful countryside of south Shropshire and the Welsh Marches. Ludlow is an excellent base for walking and cycling; as well as exploring the rest of Shropshire and the Welsh Marches.

Day 5 - After a hearty breakfast check out. Enjoy some time in Stratford Upon Avon before heading to interchange and onward to your home towns.
