The Costa Maresme is bordered in the north by the Costa Brava and on the south by the Costa de Barcelona. And another great thing about the Costa Maresme is that it’s a prominent wine-growing region, so there are plenty of vineyards dotted around the area. You'll visit Barcelona on Christmas Eve and Montserrat on Boxing Day.
Lots of extras are included as well as special festive entertainment!

Itinerary
2 Included Excursions
.Day 1 - To Dover for the short ferry crossing to Calais. Continue along the autoroutes of France to your overnight stop. Bed & breakfast.
Day 2 - After breakfast continue through France crossing over the Pyrenees and over the border at Perpignan arriving early evening in Calella for your 5 -night stay. Welcome cocktail & porterage.
At the Kaktus Playa – breakfast/brunch is served everyday from 08.00 til 12 noon (inc’s hot drink)
Christmas Eve – Gala Dinner including water, wine & cava.
Christmas Day – special lunch including water, wine & cava
Golden Hour – 50% discount on drinks between 2 pm till 5pm
Day 3 - 6 - At leisure in Calella with TWO INCLUDED excursions. Your driver will be able to assist with ideas for local visits and excursions.

Barcelona
Travel to the Mediterranean city of Barcelona, the capital of Catalonia. There are two official languages spoken in Barcelona: Catalan and Castilian Spanish. Steeped in history and tradition, culture and the arts flourish in Barcelona and there are many examples of the distinctive style of Gaudi, Spain's most famous architect. You'll find magnificent architecture and excellent shopping in the famous Ramblas. Colourful flower stalls and street entertainers abound, adding to the city's unique character.
Montserrat
The fascinating history of Montserrat goes back to the ancient 9th century when a group of shepherds found a hidden wooden statue of the Virgin Mary in one of the many caves hollowed out in these rocks. Since the 11th century a community of Benedictine monks has taken care of this holy place in their monastery.
You can walk around the Monastery and visit the Basilica for free. You can also view the Black Madonna with no charge.
Day 7 - Retrace your steps through France, stopping for lunch opportunities en-route before continuing to the overnight hotel. Bed & breakfast.
Day 8 - After breakfast, continue through France to Calais for your return to England.
