Chur - Arosa - Chur Rail Journey:
Today head to the highest Swiss mountains on the journey to Chur, the capital of the largest Swiss canton, Grisons. Chur is also the oldest city in Switzerland, and here you will board the reserved compartments on the Rhaetian Railway for the return rail journey. More than a thousand metres above Chur is the famous holiday resort of Arosa. The journey gets off to a spectacular start in Chur, for the train follows a route that takes it through the city centre. Once out of the town, the railway line winds its way up into the mountains across deep ravines and through dark tunnels. The trip across the 100 metre long Langwieser Viaduct is a particularly exhilarating experience. Back in Chur there will be free time to explore the old town before returning to the hotel.
