Itinerary
Day 1 - After joining your holiday coach, head straight to the Midlands to check into your centrally located hotel for your overnight stay with three course dinner in the Quills Restaurant DBBThis afternoon experience the very best of the Royal Shakespeare Company with an Explorer Pass. Enjoy panoramic views of Stratford and beyond from the top of the Tower viewing platform (lift access). Take a journey through 100 years of theatre-making secrets at the interactive exhibition 'The Play's the Thing' with digital dressing room where you can try on virtual costumes! Then get closer to the world of theatre on a guided 'Behind the Scenes' tour which takes you backstage to explore the public and private areas of the theatre.
Day 2 - Relax over a hearty breakfast before enjoying a morning at leisure in Stratford. Culture vultures and history buffs may like to visit some of the sites (entrances not included) linked to Shakespeare from his birthplace to New Place, the resorted Elizabethan gardens featuring a reimagining of the place where Shakespeare retired and ultimately died. Be sure to pop into Holy Trinity Church where Shakespeare's modest grave is located. Time to head homeward later today to interchange and your local towns. Back to top
