Scottish Hogmanay is where the world comes to party! And we're looking forward to celebrating with you into 2021! Scotland has always known how to see in the New Year... so why not celebrate with a fun-filled Hogmanay break? Enjoy the ceilidh band, disco, live singer and a dram of whisky.

Day 1 - Relax on your holiday coach and enjoy the scenery and with ample refreshment stops on the way to Gretna. 3 nights here with breakfast & dinner. Enjoy a tea or coffee with shortbread on arrival. Pre-dinner welcome drink before dinner. Live singer.
Day 2 Morning drive out Dumfries, an historic market town that more than lives up to its local nickname. Located in the southern region of Dumfries and Galloway and connected by lovely russet-hued sandstone bridges which straddle the banks of the River Nith, this former royal burgh has an interesting history and special connection to Scotland's National Bard. The town boasts more than its fair share of historic gems, including one of Scotland's oldest bridges.
There is also the town's Greyfriars Church, the site of the monastery where Robert the Bruce committed his infamous murder of John III Comyn, Lord of Badenoch. The town has also been home to a number of famous individuals throughout its history including Peter Pan author JM Barrie and British Formula One racing driver David Coulthard, but its most famous former resident is Robert Burns who spent his final years here.
Afternoon tea will be served in the hotel. 5 course New Years Eve Gala Dinner. Entertainment will be a mix of traditional Ceilidh music and popular cover songs. Enjoy a dram of whisky or Prosecco to welcome in the New Year. Dress code this evening - formal.
1 Jan -A morning drive out from the hotel to show you some of the local area. Return to the hotel for Afternoon Tea before your 5 course Gala Buffet followed by a live singer.
Day 4 - After your breakfast, say farewell and with many happy memories return to interchange and onward to your home towns.Back to top
Gretna Hall Hotel, Gretna
Situated on 10 acres of landscaped gardens within the village of Gretna Green, a 2-minute walk from Gretna Green Rail Station, the 18th century Gretna Hall manor offers both traditional and modern en suite rooms.
Full of history, Gretna Hall was built in 1710 and is next to the Blacksmith's Courtyard where many marriages are held. The rooms at Gretna Hall Hotel feature tea/coffee facilities, a TV and free toiletries. The Gretna lounge bar serves hot and cold meals throughout the day, and Anvil restaurant offers an a la carte menu in the evenings.
