Famous for its pirates, well the singing variety anyway, Penzance is a historic port on the south facing shores of Mount's Bay and has one of the mildest climates in the UK. One of the striking things about the town is the abundance of palm trees and gardens full of sub-tropical plants, a sure sign that you have arrived somewhere unique made even more special by the sight of St Michael's Mount out to sea that seems to hover magically over the water.

Day 1 – Travel to the South West arriving in Penzance early evening. Settle into your room before enjoying your evening meal.
Days 2 – 6 - At leisure in Penzance with included excursions as detailed below.
Discover the National Maritime Museum with its 15 galleries over five floors: explore the overwhelming influence of the sea on history and culture (entrance not included). The town has a myriad of picturesque narrow streets with a bustling harbor and is fast becoming one of the South West’s leading cultural and festival destinations.
with its maze of narrow cobbled streets and alleyways, bursting with galleries, craft shops, artist's studios and eateries. Time permitting why not try and visit the Tate St Ives and the Barbara Hepworth Museum & Sculpture Gardens overlooking Porthmeor Beach and built on the site of a former gasworks in the heart of the town's traditional fishing community. Please note: On our Easter tour this will be half day.
Isles of Scilly
Join the ferry from Penzance to St Mary’s - unwind and relax in this tranquil paradise, surrounded by palm trees and golden sands. For those feeling especially spritely, a walk right round the island could be in order. A stroll around Hugh Town or take a short coach tour (fare not included) to marvel at the wonderful sights this island has to offer.
