INCLUDED EXCURSIONS
Spinnaker Tower & Old Portsmouth Walking Tour
It's a short drive to the impressive Gunwharf Quays on the waterfront with over 90 premium designer outlets, 30 cosmopolitan bars and restaurants and the iconic Spinnaker Tower. Entrance is included for you to experience the 'wow' of miles of spectacular views across the Solent from the 100m high viewing deck (complete with the amazing glass Sky Walk - if you dare!) as well as the open air Sky Deck at 110m. After the visit, enjoy a guided circular walk through Old Portsmouth (approx. 60 mins) and explore the cobbled streets and narrow lanes where press gangs plied their sinister trade. Uncover the secrets of The Point (also known as Spice Island), named for its importance as a major port importing exotic spices from around the world. Key landmarks include the Royal Garrison Church and Portsmouth Cathedral. Spend the afternoon at leisure before returning to the hotel.

New Forest & Hampshire Show
The annual New Forest Show held in Brockenhurst is one of the UK's largest and best-loved agricultural shows. A wonderful summer event to celebrate the very best of rural life. There are two main rings at the show where a full programme of displays and competitions take place as well as headline entertainment and stunt performances (exact programme TBC). There is also a host of equine events such as show jumping and heavy horse drives. Learn about the finest dairy and beef cattle as well as rare and commercial breeds. There is a range of country demonstrations and displays such as fly fishing and gun dog training. See top chefs in action with their masterclasses demo-ing their culinary art and enjoy live music from talented local musicians. It's a grand day out! Be sure to wear comfortable footwear and weather appropriate clothes

Isle of Wight for the day
Enjoy a day out to everyone's favourite island with a trip across the Solent from Portsmouth to Fishbourne. Enjoy a scenic drive as you head to Sandown, sheltered in a beautiful bay, and known for its long stretches of golden sandy beach and its traditional British seafront and pier. It is the classic seaside town where you can relax and maybe take a stroll along the Revetment (a seawall walk) - a great way to appreciate the vistas of the bay. Next stop is Shanklin, one of the most charming resorts on the islands with its glorious long wide sandy beach set against a backdrop of dramatic sandstone cliffs. The Shanklin Esplanade is lined with traditional seaside amusements, cafes, restaurants and pubs and the Old Village of Shanklin is extremely pretty with plenty of quaint shops and old-fashioned tea rooms. Head back across the Solent in the afternoon in time to freshen p before dinner in the hotel.

DAY 5 - After a relaxed breakfast, it's time to return homewards with a suitable stop en-route and arrive back at your local joining points early to mid-evening.
