NEW - A fabulous weekend awaits celebrating the iconic sounds of the last century in one of the brightest jewels in the magnificent English Riviera's crown, pretty Paignton. Travel back in time to the Roaring 20s, the Swinging 60s and the Iconic 80s with themed entertainment and dining each night at the ever-popular Palace Hotel, right on the Esplanade. The long stretch of beautiful beachfront, promenade, traditional pier and colourful make Paignton extremely popular with visitors year-round. Enjoy some refreshing autumnal sea air as well as unrivalled views of Torquay to the north and Brixham to the south. Head Southwest this October and enjoy interesting drives out, great dining and fabulous entertainment through the decades (and the opportunity to dress for the occasion!)

Your Itinerary
.Day 1 - After joining your holiday coach, head south to Paignton to check into the excellent 3* Palace Hotel for the next 3 nights here with breakfast & themed dinner and entertainment each evening. Meet up this evening for a pre-dinner drink in the Washington BarThemed entertainment each evening - Be sure to 'Dress to Impress'!
- Friday - The Roaring 20s - The Great Gatsby Era - Flappers, gangsters & feather boas!
- Saturday - The Swinging 60s - Beatlemania, miniskirts and hippy chic!
- Sunday - The Iconic 80s - get those leg warmers and shoulder pads out again - it's time to disco!
Day 2 - 3 At leisure in Paignton with two included excursions
Enjoy Paignton with its long stretch of beautiful and easily accessible beachfront with a traditional promenade and green. Paignton's 18th century Harbour is a real maritime gem with a bevy of boats, a historic harbour wall plus several restaurants and cafes.
On Sunday afternoon enjoy an 80s Inspired Sweet Treat with tea/coffee in the hotel.

Totnes & Brixham
Dating back to 907 AD, Totnes is an historic market town surrounded by breathtakingly beautiful countryside. Sitting in the heart of South Devon on the banks of the River Dart, this unique town has an international reputation for its lively and diverse community and relaxed atmosphere. Enjoy some time at leisure to explore this charming town in the shadow of the impressive Totnes Castle. Then head back to Torbay and pretty Brixham with its maritime history and delightful coastal views. In the lee of Berry Head, famous for its Napoleonic connections, its lighthouse and magnificent limestone cliffs, Brixham is a stunningly beautiful seaside town where life centres around the picturesque harbour where the life-size replica of the Golden Hind can be found (entrance applies £8.95 pp).
Torquay
Head along the coast a little to enjoy time in Torquay with its palm-lined seafront and russet-red cliffs - perfect for an autumn promenade. Torquay is the birthplace of the famous crime writer and novelist Dame Agatha Christie who spent much of her life here. The Agatha Christie Commemorative Bust is displayed in Cary Gardens, adjacent to The Pavilion and Torquay Harbour and marks the Agatha Christie Centenary Year in1990. Head back to Paignton for time at leisure to explore the town or enjoy the hotel facilities before dinner this evening.
