If you have never experienced the World-famous Empress Ballroom at the Winter Gardens in Blackpool then this is your chance! The Empress Ballroom is one of the most popular venues within the Winter Gardens complex. It has been enjoyed by delegates at conferences and events of all shapes and sizes throughout the years. The venue is perhaps most well- known for regularly hosting the annual party conferences of the big three political parties in the UK, Labour, the Conservatives, and the Liberal Democrats, throughout the late 20th century.
PLEASE NOTE: Price is per person and based on two people sharing a twin/double room. Single room supplements and upgrades are not included.
Itinerary
Great Start to your Christmas Festivities
Day 1 From your chosen joining point travel to interchange and head northwards to Blackpool with a comfort stop enroute. Arrive at the Carousel Hotel- check in for the night with breakfast in the morning. Time to freshen up and get your dancing shoes on before your coach departs for a short 10 minute drive to the Winter Gardens. Your evening commences at 19.00 – a fun evening of great entertainment, fun and food! Returning to the hotel at 12 midnight.
Kick off Christmas on this great value for money 2 day break. Be entertained by a live orchestra along with organist Chris Hopkins (from the Tower Ballroom), dance demonstrations by one of Britain's top professional dance teams and a cabaret. All this plus a traditional Christmas dinner will be served. Enjoy the social dancing with plenty of Christmas fun all compered by your host Mr Stephen Holland from Fever Dance Company.
Day 2 Not too early a start but enjoy your full English breakfast and a brisk walk for some sea air before departure. A stop will be made en route. Expect to be back in the local area late afternoon/early evening.
