Harrogate Autumn Flower Show is a major event in the UK gardening year, with everything you need to plan and plant the perfect outdoor space. The show is perfect for garden lovers with beautiful show gardens and a vast range of plants. A new venue for 2022  and 2023 sees the show move to spectacular Georgian Newby Hall. A scenic drive through the magnificent Yorkshire Dales National Park rounds off this super little Autumn getaway!

Day 1 After joining your holiday coach, enjoy a scenic drive to the  Harrogate,  3 or 4 nights DBB

Day 2 - 3 or 4 At leisure in Harrogate with two included excursions.

Yorkshire Dales National Park
Designated a national park in 1954 (further extended in 2013), the Yorkshire Dales is known for its outstanding scenery, unspoilt countryside, diverse wildlife habitats and a rich cultural heritage. The Yorkshire Dales has many moods - it can be wild and windswept or quietly tranquil with valleys full of meadows, drystone walls and barns. Take a scenic drive of discovery via Pateley Bridge, a lovely little Dales town on the River Nidd, and then onto pretty Grassington, the friendly and picturesque village in Upper Wharfedale. Head back to Harrogate via Skipton, the charming Dales market town with its famous 900 year old castle, romantic ruined priory and historic cobbled High Street, 

Harrogate Autumn Flower Show at Newby Hall & Gardens
It's all aboard to Newby Hall, a beautiful Georgian country house set in spectacular gardens. Newby Hall is a jewel in the crown of North Yorkshire and one of the country’s finest 18th Century stately homes with award-winning gardens. A new venue for the Harrogate Autumn Show 2022 & 2023 access to Newby’s gardens is included, complete with some of Europe’s biggest herbaceous flower borders and 15 stunning garden ‘rooms’. The autumn show will also feature wonderful indoor floral installations, inspired by the interiors of this beautiful18th Century house (free flow through the ground floor of the house). Most paths through the gardens are shallow pea gravel

Medieval York - September 2024 only (5 Days)

Still encircled by its ancient walls, York was one of the great cities of the medieval world. The city is dominated by the soaring pinnacles of York Minster, the finest Gothic church in northern Europe. From its narrow streets, lively with chic cafés and specialist shops, to trips on its tree-lined river, York is a treasure house for visitors. It offers an unrivalled choice of museums and galleries including the renowned Jorvik Viking Centre, National Railway Museum and the Castle Museum. With so much to see and do here, York is known as 'the city to suit all tastes'. New for 2021 is an included visit to the breathtakingly stately Castle Howard, a work of theatrical splendour set in the rolling Howardian Hills. One of the world's most beautiful buildings, the house is instantly recognisable from its starring role in the 1980s TV series 'Brideshead Revisited'. Please book with your driver. 



Return Day After breakfast depart for your journey home. A stop en route at Stamford - time permitting or a more convenient location if neccesary, Travelling homewards, arriving back at your local joining points early to mid-evening.
