Old Swan Harrogate
This lovely old 4* historic hotel has picturesque lawns and gardens, and is just a short stroll to the centre of town and its many attractions.  It combines Victorian splendour with contemporary luxury. From its revolving doors to its famous glass-ceilinged Wedgwood Restaurant, The Old Swan Hotel Harrogate exudes romance and mystery. It was to this tranquil haven that the mistress of crime-writing, Agatha Christie, famously disappeared in 1926, resulting in a public furore over the 11 days that she could not be traced. Guests can enjoy 136 contemporary-styled bedrooms with all the modern amenities you would expect such as TV and tea/coffee making facilities. There is a lift to all rooms as well as an outdoor terrace and lawned gardens.
