Desenzano Market Day & Sirmione
Explore the beautiful little market town of Desenzano at the southern tip of the lake, which attracts the chic Milan crowds. With a calm, friendly and romantic atmosphere and a wonderful lakefront lined with bars and restaurants this is an ideal place to spend some free time at the Tuesday Market. Alternatively, you can visit the castle and the Roman Villa from where the views are simply fantastic. Continue to Sirmione, one of Garda's most popular resorts which juts out several miles into the southern waters of the lake on a narrow peninsula of cypress and olive groves. Your driver may offer an optional boat trip from Desenzano to Sirmione subject to availability.
Salo - Half day
Travel the short distance to the nearby resort of Salo, famed for having the longest promenade on Lake Garda and possibly in the whole of Italy. The resort is a delight, with its marina, full of neatly parked boats, numerous attractive buildings and pretty piazzas and designer shopping opportunities. The promenade is lined with restaurants, café-bars and the mild climate here makes it ideal for relaxing and watching the world go by
Lake Iseo Explorer
One of the lesser known lakes in Italy, Lake Iseo is just as captivating as its larger neighbours. Among the main attractions here are its spectacular views, natural beauty and air of tranquillity around the local towns and lake. Iseo, set on the south-eastern shore, is the town after which the lake is named and is renowned for its authentic, historical centre and attractive cafes and wine bars. Relax on the lakeside or stroll along to the old harbour.
DAY 7 - It's farewell to Lake Garda today as you head northwards on the way to your final overnight hotel.
Return Day - After breakfast, continue through France to Calais for the return crossing to England.Back to top
