Explore Exmouth
Day 1 - Board your holiday coach and dead Southwest with suitable refreshment stops en-route to arrive at your centrally located hotel in Exmouth with time to freshen up before dinner. 5 nights DBBDay 2 - 4 (or 5) - At leisure in Exmouth with two included excursions
Exmouth offers stunning coastal views and a variety of scenic walks. The expansive sandy beach is perfect for a leisurely stroll or a relaxing day by the sea. Explore this section of the South West Coast Path for picturesque vistas and opportunities to spot local wildlife. You may like to take a cruise on the River Exe with regular departures from Exmouth marina (see www.stuartlinecruises.co.uk) and there is also a ferry which takes you across the River Exe to Starcross on the west bank.
As you explore Exmouth’s shopping scene, you’ll discover numerous hidden gems and unique finds. The town’s eclectic mix of independent boutiques and specialty shops means you’re always likely to stumble upon something unexpected and special. Whether it’s a quirky piece of home decor, a rare book or a handcrafted jewellery item. Exmouth Indoor Market is open daily (except Sunday) 09.00 - 17.00

Bicton Park Botanical Gardens & Sidmouth
Today you head off to Bicton Park, set in the picturesque Otter Valley. Bicton Park is one of Britain's most beautiful historic gardens and combines 18th century tranquility with modern facilities all year round on 63 acres of Grade 1 listed gardens and parkland. Its centrepiece is the formal Italian Garden with its fountains, lake, flowerbeds and ornamental trees. Other special areas include the American Garden, Stream Garden and Rose Garden as well as the historic Palm House and 19th century glasshouses. Enjoy an included cream tea. You may like to take a 25-minute trip on the Bicton Woodland Railway, a great way to view the parkland (tickets can be purchased on the day upon arrival for a small additional fee - £4 pp in 2024). Then drop into the stately resort of Sidmouth, a seaside town like no other, for a slice of old England with its Regency history, award-winning beaches, majestic red cliffs and elegant buildings.
Exeter
Head to Exeter this morning; one of the most vibrant, attractive and historically interesting cities in England - a small city that packs a big punch! Pre-dating the arrival of the Romans in AD 50, Exeter's history is rich and long. Discover one thousand years of wonder and the awe-inspiring beauty of one of Europe's most magnificent cathedrals (admission fee applies - approx. £7.50 pp in 2024). Head to Exeter's Historic Quayside, one of the most attractive areas of the city, popular with locals and visitors alike for its fascinating history, interesting architecture and lively cafes and restaurants.
