As the leaves turn and burst into a riot of colour, there is no better place to be than in the heart of Scotland. Based in Pitlochry, this wonderful programme is full of special experiences and visits with the spectacular Enchanted Forest as the highlight.

Day 1 - A morning departure as you head north towards the Lake District with suitable refreshment stops en-route. Overnight hotel with dinner, bed & breakfast.
Day 2 - A brief visit to Gretna Green as you cross the border into Scotland as you continue via the motorway to the extraordinary Kelpies, two gigantic horse heads, standing almost a hundred feet high, designed by Scottish sculptor, Andy Scott . A major feat of engineering and design, you enjoy a 45-minute guided walking (flat) tour that tells the story of the real life working horses of the area along the canals. The tour is outside but you will also see a Kelpie from the inside. Continue to Pitlochry to check-in for your 2-night stay. Dinner, bed & breakfast.
Day 3 – A Royal tour today with a lovely drive through the Vale of Strathmore to Glamis Castle and Gardens, the beloved childhood home of the Queen Mother. Steeped in history, this stunning architectural treasure is full of legendary tales and secrets brought to life by a knowledgeable tour guide. Finish the outing on a royal note back in Pitlochry with a stop at ‘Queens View’ at the head of Loch Tummel, the classic and much photographed viewpoint where Queen Victoria picnicked in 1866.
Early dinner this evening and then wrap up warm for the evening visit to the award-winning Enchanted Forest at Faskally Wood, a dazzling outdoor sound and light show set again a stunning autumn woodland setting. The event is designed for all ages and abilities to enjoy with the walk around the forest approximately 1.8km.
Day 4 – Head south today after a full Scottish breakfast with a stop in the city of Perth and a visit to the outstanding Black Watch Museum, housed in Balhousie Castle. With included entrance, you will learn the story of Scotland’s oldest Highland regiment before continuing onto the overnight stop in the Tyneside area. Dinner, bed & breakfast.
