The Kelpies and Edinburgh
Head east today to the extraordinary Kelpies, two gigantic horse heads, standing almost a hundred feet high, designed by Scottish sculptor, Andy Scott - a masterpiece of engineering and design. Their name reflects the mythological transforming beasts with the strength of 100 horses, echoing the transformational change of the region's landscape and the strength of its communities.
