Your Itinerary

Day 1 Sightseeing and refreshments in Colchester - Britain's oldest recorded town, with a colourful history dating back over two thousand years. This afternoon travel the short distance to the market town of Sudbury, our holiday base in Suffolk for 4 nights with your Christmas package.

Day 2 After a hearty English breakfast, join the tour of parts of Constable Country calling firstly at Long Melford with its mile long high street populated by charming independent shops, vibrant art galleries, antique centres, cafes, restaurants, and, of course, typical Suffolk Inns. We then continue to the market town of Bury St. Edmunds where time will be allowed for exploration before returning to the hotel for afternoon tea.

Day 3 After breakfast, relax in the hotel lounge. Traditional Christmas Lunch with all the trimmings will be served and at 3.00pm there will be a chance to watch the Queens speech. Tonight enjoy a light buffet.

Day 4- After breakfast- all aboard for your included mystery excursion before returning for lunch. Your afternoon can be spent at leisure. Buffet dinner tonight, there will be another chance to enjoy live entertainment.

Day 5 - After a leisurely breakfast head to Aldeburgh today for a visit to this neat little seaside resort with its shingle beach. Once finished here take a look at Southwold, set on a low cliff, with sandy beach and pier. Once a bustling fishing town, but today more famous nowadays for its colourful beach huts and brewery. Afterwards head back home, arriving during the evening.
