Day 1. After joining your holiday coach, heading for Skipton pausing in Newark for refreshment opportunities. Breakfast & dinner included and party night tonight in the hotel.
Days 2 - 3. At leisure with a transfer to the centre of Skipton for the festivities and an included excursion to Grassington.
A free day in for the Skipton Yuletide Festival. Together with the market and great food stalls, there will be a full range of entertainment in the Town Centre throughout the day, both in the main High Street Arena and at locations across the Town. The whole of Skipton truly has a real Christmassy feel... The Yuletide Festival is an ideal opportunity to sample a great atmosphere - and to bag yourself a pre-Christmas bargain at the same time. In fact, you could do ALL your Christmas shopping in one go at the fabulous range of independent shops, market stalls and famous high street brands. Skipton also has two department stores - and a fabulous range of places to eat and drink.
Grassington Dickensian Festival
9 days before Christmas Grassington travels back in time for their annual Dickensian Festival. The village is adorned in Christmas lights and the squares and streets come alive with a traditional market with the local shopkeepers and villagers dress up in Victorian costume. Enjoy the glorious array of the sights, tastes and aromas of a bygone era.
Day 4 Homeward bound today with a refreshment stop in Grantham. Returning to interchange and onward to your home towns.Back to top
