Join us on this fabulous 5 day break to celebrate a great British Christmas as you take an imaginary journey around the British Isles. Each night will feature live music, cabaret and dancing from the 'destination' of the evening - from Scotland to Ireland, then back to England and Wales. Each night there will be bingo, quizzes and competitions as well as prizes to be given to the best dressed in the theme of the night. During the day there will be films and of course carol singing - all organised and presented by your resident Host.
PLEASE NOTE: Price is per person and based on two people sharing a twin/double room. Single room supplements and upgrades are not included.

Itinerary
Day 1 After joining your holiday coach, travel to your Christmas holiday destination for 4 nights. Dinner, breakfast & Christmas Day Lunch. Welcome drink and mince pie on arrival. Your destination this evening is Scotland.
Day 2 - Christmas Eve - Wrap up warm and head to vibrant Blackpool this morning for some last minute Christmas shopping and to soak up the festive seaside atmosphere. Located on the seafront in the shadow of the iconic Blackpool Tower, the Tower Festival Headland, will be transformed into a breath-taking festive village complete with an outdoor skating rink, magical snowfalls, log cabins, light installations and festive-themed rides. Shop to your heart’s content in the town centre filled with an abundance of high street retailers and independent shops, located a five-minute stroll away from the Christmas by the Sea festive village. Head back to the hotel later to relax before dinner followed by entertainment. Your destination this evening is Ireland.
Day 3 - Christmas Day - Merry Christmas - a leisurely morning before your traditional Christmas day lunch with all the trimmings. King's speech will be broadcast this afternoon. Enjoy a light Christmas supper this evening followed by entertainment. Your destination this evening is England
Day 4 - Boxing Day - Blow the cobwebs away this morning with a drive out to the Sefton Coast, an expansive coastline, surrounded by natural beauty. Stop at Crosby Beach to view the impressive art installation by Antony Gormley, 'Another Place' where 100 male statues made of iron standing proudly looking out to sea. Time permitting, head to Southport, home to Britain's second longest pier (currently closed), first opened in 1860 with an original length of 3,600 ft. Dinner and entertainment this evening in the hotel. Your destination this evening is Wales
Day 5 - After a hearty breakfast, check out and head back to interchange stopping for refreshments on the way.

Mercure Blackburn Dunkenhalgh - Clayton Le Moors
The 4* Mercure Blackburn Dunkenhalgh Hotel & Spa is set inside a beautiful 700-year-old country manor house. The building retains many of its original features, including turrets, porticos and a vast staircase plus new extensions sympathetically added.
The hotel was completely refurbished in 2020 and is set amongst the iconic Lancashire countryside with its own extensive landscaped grounds.
The courtyard spa and leisure facilities offer a full range of professional treatments (additional charge), an impressive heated indoor pool and modern fitness centre.
Guestrooms are located in several different areas of the hotel including the courtyard (external access / no lift), the main hotel (no lift and some stairs) and a lift accessible block approx 5-10 mins from public areas. Rooms are classic in style with TV, ironing facilities, hairdryer and tea/coffee making facilities.
There is a restaurant and bar. The lift serves just one part of the hotel (but not all rooms) and there are some ground floor rooms.
