Itinerary

Day 1      From interchange head to Oxfordshire with a break in the market town of Thame, where many scenes were filmed for Midsomer Murders.Some free time to look round and grab some lunch before arriving at the Mercure Lambert Hotel. Check in and prepare for the evening of entertainment.


After enjoying a three course dinner sit back and listen to an entertaining and informative talk given by an expert from Buckinghamshire Archives. Day 2 Enjoy your full English breakfast before departure to Marlow, without a doubt one of the loveliest locations on the River Thames, set amongst the rich meadows of the river valley and alongside the woodlands of the Chiltern Hills.

The vibrant Georgian market town is made up of historic streets and an abundance of boutique shops, restaurants, cafes and bistros all adding to the town's unique charm. The town's most famous landmark is the suspension bridge which spans the River Thames and joins the counties of Buckinghamshire and Berkshire. Marlow has always been known as a fashionable riverside resort and attracted many famous people to the area.

Free time here before the short drive to interchange and onward to your home- towns.
