Birmingham’s Frankfurt Christmas Market is a firm fixture in the city’s annual calendar and a massive favourite with both residents and visitors to the city. Birmingham comes alive every winter with the arrival of the Market, a clear sign that Christmas is just around the corner. The stalls on Victoria Square and along New Street offer something for everyone. The largest authentic German Christmas market outside of Germany or Austria, Birmingham’s Frankfurt Christmas Market offers a large range of traditional good and gifts and a selection of tempting food and drink. Pretzels, schnitzels, bratwursts, and roasted almonds will tempt your tastebuds, all of which can be washed down with gluhwein, weissbeer (wheat beer), or tasty hot chocolate.
PLEASE NOTE: Price is per person and based on two people sharing a twin/double room. Single room supplements and upgrades are not included.
Itinerary
Day 1 After joining your holiday coach, sit back and relax as your journey takes you to the Midlands. Enjoy a stop in the vibrant county town of Warwick, a treasure house of medieval architecture, with rich veins of history and charming streets, dominated by the soaring turrets of Warwick Castle (entrance not included). Then it's onward to your hotel for your festive weekend, Novotel Coventry for 2 nights. DBB
Day 2 Spend a full day in Festive Birmingham and explore the Christmas Market. Enjoy the live music programme on Victoria Square and whilst you’re there, why not pick up some presents for family and friends with everything from handcrafted wooden decorations and delicate glass baubles to in the form of the ever-favourite crystal lamps, hand-crafted leatherwork, toys, jewellery and much more besides!
Day 3 After a relaxed breakfast, board your coach for the journey back to interchange. Make a stop en-route at ever popular Stratford-Upon-Avon with unmistakably Tudor buildings, its many cosy tearooms, independent shops and of course, Shakespeare's modest grave in Holy Trinity Church. Arrive back at interchange and then onto your hometowns this evening.
