Itinerary

Day 1 -  After joining your holiday coach, its onto Chipping Norton perched on the highest point in the Oxfordshire Cotswolds, Chipping Norton, affectionately known as 'Chippy' by locals, was once a centre for the Cotswold wool trade and was given a Royal charter by King John in 1205. The medieval Guildhall and St Mary's Church reflect the prosperity brought by the wool trade. Many of the original houses around the market place were rebuilt in the 18th century with fashionable Georgian frontages.

A short drive to the hotel; near Banbury for your 1 night stay. Check in and prepare for the evening of entertainment. After a three course dinner enjoy an entertaining talk from your host Adam Partridge or one of his talented team of experts.  Learn more about the world of antiques and auctions. Get expert tips and advice on buying and selling. Bring your antiques along (small items only) and find out how much they are worth!

Day 2   After a leisurely breakfast, check out heading south with a break in the journey in Woodstock.  Woodstock is more than worthy of a visit in its own right. A medieval 'new town', founded to cater for visitors to a royal hunting lodge, Woodstock has a 900 year record of hospitality. The town's fine Georgian facades often disguise far older buildings that house all manner of fascinating hotels and cafes, shops and galleries. There are two excellent museums - The Oxfordshire Museum and the Soldiers of Oxfordshire Museum - and don't miss the town's church with its fine collection of embroidered kneelers and a musical clock, which plays a different tune each day. Onwards to interchange in the afternoon.
