Calling all flower enthusiasts and green fingered gardeners! With a dazzling Dutch displays of tremendous tulips, divine daffodils and handsome hyacinths, you are sure to appreciate Springtime in Holland when you can expect rainbow carpets of flower fields blooming into a beautiful patchwork quilt of colour. You can tip toe (or skip or waltz!) through the tulips at the world famous Keukenhof Gardens, the breath-taking park which opens for just eight weeks a year to show off the millions of bulbs planted annually. Your tulip time holiday stays not far from Keukenhof Gardens itself and is well situated for a visit to the heart of the bulb growing region. Your holiday includes a day out in Amsterdam and Volendam.PLEASE NOTE: Price is per person and based on two people sharing a twin/double room. Single room supplements and upgrades are not included.

Itinerary
DAY 1 - A morning departure to Dover for the short sea ferry crossing to France. Then travel through Belgium before entering Holland and on to your hotel in Hoofddorp near Schiphol airport, for the next 4 nights, arriving in the early evening. Buffet dinner in the hotel for 3 nights with breakfast daily.
Should you wish to spend more time in Amsterdam, the hotel is just a short walk (10 mins) from Hoofddorp railway station with a regular direct connection to Amsterdam central station (approx. 25 mins)
DAY 2 - 4 At leisure in Holland with TWO INCLUDED excursions and one optional excursion

Bulbfields & Keukenhof Gardens
After breakfast, tour around the glorious bulbfields of Holland where the continuously drained soil of the polders creates perfect growing conditions for the tulip bulbs which love well-drained but moist soil. Enjoy an included visit to Keukenhof Gardens, the Dutch Master Growers showpiece which rightly draws visitors from all around the world to marvel at this spectacular sight. Over 7 million flower bulbs are planted every year, and the gardens and pavilions comprise a fantastic collection of tulips, hyacinths, daffodils, orchids, roses, carnations, irises, lilies and more - an overwhelming spectacle of colour and perfume. During the day there will be the opportunity for an optional guided cruise on the Kaag lake - details from your driver
NB Keukenhof is fully cashless for all purchases made in the on-site restaurants and shops
Volendam & Amsterdam
Visit the quaint and picturesque old fishing village of Volendam and the former Zuider Zee where many of the local inhabitants still wear the traditional costumes. You will stop by a local clog maker and a cheese farm and then continue onto Amsterdam, with its compact centre packed with art museums full of masterpieces, historic scenic canals, atmospheric lanes, crooked merchant buildings, house boats, bikes and inviting cafes. You will have the opportunity of an optional guided city tour - details from your driver. NB Dinner is not included in the hotel today but there are plenty of options for food and drink during the day
OPTIONAL EXCURSION
Delft
Visit Delft, the picturesque walkable town known for its historical facades, charming canals and delicious pancakes. Delft is the birthplace of the world-famous Delft Blue ceramics and also one of the great Dutch Masters, Johannes Vermeer. There is a wide a wide variety of eateries and restaurants in the centre of Delft. You may like to visit the world-famous Royal Delft Museum - the factory museum for Delft Blue pottery (open daily until 17.00 - entrance approx. €17.50 pp in 2026). The Vermeer Centre (entrance approx. €15 pp in 2026) is where you will learn about 17th-century Delft and the role Vermeer played in it. Thanks to the city's rich history, there are many wonderful sights around the town from the little alleys with their fantastic ambiance to the beautiful canal-side houses.
DAY 5 - After breakfast, depart for France and the ferry crossing to Dover, arriving home during the evening
