Christmas at Charlecote Park & Festive Warwick
Charlecote House is a grand property and was a family home for more than 900 years, before its transformation in the 1800s into one of the finest examples of Elizabethan Revival style by its owners Mary Elizabeth and George Hammond Lucy. Wonder at the extravagantly decorated house (theme varies each year) as you wander around the bedecked rooms and outbuildings and immerse yourself in the Christmas spirit. There are plenty of delicious festive favourites to be found in the cafe, or pop to the shop to find Christmas cards, gifts and baubles or follow the Christmas trail around Charlecote Park. NB The house rooms are on the ground floor, the decorated gardens accessible via gravel paths and the outbuildings are also on the ground floor
Later return to the hotel to relax for the afternoon or head into compact Warwick, which comes alive every Christmastime with twinkling lights adorning its historic streets and a magical atmosphere that warms the heart.
Day 4 - After a relaxed breakfast, depart with a stop at Bicester Avenue, the popular and award-winning home, garden and leisure shopping centre. Drive onto interchange and then onwards to your hometowns
