INCLUDED EXCURSIONS
Scarborough & Whitby via North York Moors National Park
Head to Scarborough on the stunning Yorkshire Coast. Britain's first holiday resort, Scarborough, has been welcoming visitors for over 360 years. The North Bay and South Bay are separated by the headland on which stands the town's medieval castle. After free time to explore, return to Whitby for some free time via the dramatic North York Moors National Park.

Medieval York
Magnificent York is a beautiful compact riverside city famous for its Roman, Viking and Medieval heritage dating back 2000 years. Within the ancient walls and twisting atmospheric streets you will find an array of sights to discover such as the iconic York Minster (the largest Gothic cathedral in the Northern Europe), Jorvik Viking Centre which tells the story of York's Viking Heritage (entrance not included) plus a host of museums, shops, charming tea rooms and traditional pubs. Don't miss the picturesque warren of medieval lanes known as the 'Shambles'. It may be a too little early for the Christmas Market but it is not too early for some serious Christmas shopping! Your driver may be able to offer an optional guided city tour.

OPTIONAL EXCURSION
Beverley
Head through the picturesque Yorkshire Wolds to East Riding's most attractive town, Beverley, a bustling market town which is full of Georgian character, charming streets and courtyards. The landmark Gothic Beverley Minster complete with 13th century stone carvings and stained glass, dominates the skyline. Its impressive proportions and historic significance are best appreciated from inside. Building work began here in 1220 and wasn’t completed until 1425 so three distinct architectural styles can be seen in the intricate detailing.

Day 5 - After breakfast travel homewards with a comfort stop en-route arriving early/mid evening
