INCLUDED EXCURSIONS
Bicton Park & Sidmouth
It is the turn of South Devon today as you head to Bicton Park, set in the picturesque Otter Valley. Bicton Park is one of Britain's most beautiful historic gardens and combines 18th century tranquility with modern facilities all year round on 63 acres of Grade 1 listed gardens and parkland. Its centrepiece is the formal Italian Garden with its fountains, lake, flowerbeds and ornamental trees. Other special areas include the American Garden, Stream Garden and Rose Garden as well as the historic Palm House and 19th century glasshouses. Enjoy an included cream tea plus a 25-minute trip on the Bicton Woodland Railway, a great way to view the parkland. Then drop into the stately resort of Sidmouth, a seaside town like no other, for a slice of old England with its Regency history, award-winning beaches, majestic red cliffs and elegant buildings.

Barnstaple & Ilfracombe
Head to Barnstaple, regarded as North Devon's central town and social heart due to the wide range of amenities it offers. You can enjoy the charm and friendly atmosphere of one of Britain's largest indoor markets at Barnstaple's famous Pannier Market. Largely unchanged in over 150 years, the historic market has a wide range of stalls, with everything from fresh local produce, flowers and crafts, to prints and pictures, fashion and much more. Continue to popular Ilfracombe, a favourite with holiday makers since the 1800s thanks to its stunning coastline and beaches. It is a haven for foodies and is home to a host of attractions including the award-winning aquarium as well as Damien Hirst's controversial sculpture, Verity, on the pier at the entrance to the harbour.

Exploring Tiverton
Take time out today to explore the ancient market town of Tiverton which sits in a delightful setting on the banks of the River Exe. Tiverton Market (Tuesday) boasts a beautiful Grade II listed Victorian pannier market building where you will find all manner of arts & crafts, charcuterie & delicatessen items, cakes, books and vintage goods. Watch the world go by very peacefully along the idyllic Grand Western Canal on an included trip aboard one of the last remaining horse-drawn barges in Great Britain. A trip on the 'Tivertonian', the beautiful wide beam, 75-seater barge, offers a truly unique and memorable living heritage experience of a time before steam - a little bit of 'heaven' in Devon!

Day 5 After breakfast - all aboard for the journey back to interchange and onward to your hometowns.
