Exmouth & Winter Cruise
Exmouth is one of the oldest and most picturesque seaside towns in Devon. It is a lively town, situated on the east coast of Devon where the River Exe meets the sea and offers a diverse selection of shops and places to eat. It is the gateway to the Jurassic Coast World Heritage Site and has two miles of sandy beach, which is perfect for lovely walks. Join a 90 minutes 'winter cruise' on a snug heated boat with included tea/coffee and travel along the tranquil waters of the River Exe which is home to a wide range of wildlife and migrating birds - the perfect setting for a winter cruise!
Brixham & Totnes
Head along the famous Devon coastline to Brixham. This resort is primarily a fishing port within Torbay and has a long and rich history. In the lee of Berry Head, famous for its Napoleonic connections, its lighthouse and magnificent limestone cliffs, Brixham remains a popular resort with a rich maritime history and its pretty harbour is know for its art galleries, seafood eateries and colourful houses. Totnes is an historic market town surrounded by breathtakingly beautiful countryside. Sitting in the heart of South Devon on the banks of the River Dart, this unique and charming town has an international reputation for its lively and diverse community and relaxed atmosphere.
Morning in Torquay - Market Day
Nip around the bay to cheery Torquay this morning. Thursday is market day and stalls will vary week to week but normally include food outlets, jewellery, textiles, quilts and handmade glass. Torquay is known for its sandy beaches, attractions and genteel Victorian appearance. Made (in)famous by the legendary comedy series Fawlty Towers, Torquay has a distinctly Mediterranean flair and is always a firm favourite. You'll be back in the hotel in time for this afternoon's seasonal quiz with tea and a mince pie
